Girls in Math (GiM) 2025 Registration Information
General Info
This year, Girls in Math will be held on February 22, 2025, at Yale University.
Full event details, tentative schedule, and more logistical information can be found at Contest Information.
If you cannot attend the in-person competition, we are also offering an online version-- more details below.
Registration
Registration is OPEN!
This year, we are happy to announce we are transitioning to a brand new registration portal! This will allow students and coaches to view important information such as waiver, payment, and roster status in a streamlined manner.
Note that students will need to make accounts through the portal, and will be asked to report their own t-shirt size and any dietary restrictions.
The registration portal can be found HERE.
The deadline to register is February 6, 2025.
Having any technical questions/problems? See detailed instructions and FAQ on how to use the portal here.
Teams can contain up to 6 students. If your team does not have 6 people and would like a full team, or if you would like to sign up as an individual, we also offer options for merging/forming teams with other groups/individuals.
If you know your team would like to attend, but do not have a set roster of students yet, feel free to register an empty team and add/edit students later through the portal--we can accommodate any roster changes requested by 5pm EST, February 20.
Each organization may bring as many teams as they would like.
Waivers
There are a total of three waivers: two for all students/guardians to fill out, and one for coach/supervisors to fill out.
Waivers can be found here. Completed waivers can be uploaded directly through the registration portal above.
Payment
Registration is $15 per student if payment is received before the date of the competition, and $20 per student if payment is received at the competition. It includes a free t-shirt and lunch!
Registration can be paid for online here. Be sure to write the correct team name and other relevant information in the payment form.
Registration can also be paid for by cash or check during check-in. Please pay by check made out to "MMATHS" mailed to the following address:

Transportation and lodging are not included. Each team's coach/sponsor is responsible for providing transportation and lodging for their students. We provide a regularly updated list of hotels and any special offers on the Contest Information page.
If the competition fee, lodging, and/or travel poses a significant expense for you or your team, then we encourage you to apply for financial aid here by February 15th, 2024. Financial assistance applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis, and we have a limited amount of funds available, so please apply as soon as possible!
Online Contest
If you are unable to attend in-person, we are also offering a free online version of the contest, using the same problems, to be held on MathDash concurrently on February 22. The contest will be unofficial, so awards will not be given and there will be no Guts Round. Registration for this will also open on January 22.
