Guest Speaker
Professor Richard Kenyon will be the spotlight speaker at this competition. He was appointed the Erastus L. DeForest Professor of Mathematics at Yale University in 2019, having previously taught at Princeton University, the University of California-Berkeley, the University of British Columbia, and Brown University. Kenyon has also contributed numerous research articles to professional journals and chapters in edited books, and serves as an editor of International Mathematics Research Notices and the Annales de l’Institut Henri Poincaré-D. His research interests include statistical mechanics, probability and discrete geometry.
Venue
The Yale competition will be hosted at Sheffield-Sterling-Stratchona (SSS) 114. There will be signs with directions to registration.
Parking and Directions
Parking is available on Grove, Prospect, and Temple Street (the streets alongside Silliman and Timothy Dwight colleges). Visitor parking options include Grove Street Garage (65 Grove Street) and 26V (200 Prospect Street/Ingalls Rink). A full list of parking options at Yale can be found here.
